Four sub-zones in Champasak Province: Wangtao-Phonthong Economic Development Zone; Champasak Lao-Service Industrial Park; Mahanathi Sithandone SEZ (Khong District; reported at approximately 9,846 ha in a commercial real-estate listing representing the project, not independently verified); Pakse-Japan SME SEZ (195 ha; about 15 minutes from Pakse city center).

Infrastructure & Connectivity

Pakse-Japan SME SEZ: about 20 minutes from Pakse International Airport and about 40 minutes from the Chong Mek border crossing with Thailand.

Pakse-Japan SME SEZ only (per the zone operator's own site and secondary reporting, not independently cross-verified against a government source): corporate tax exemption of up to 10 years, a 5% dividend tax thereafter, and a flat 5% personal income tax rate.
